Ever have something get a little out of hand? A couple of weeks ago at work, I downloaded a new tool to help me create flow charts and ‘Mind Maps’ (so much fun, right?) and when I was playing around with it, one of my first tests was ‘should I play sci-fi or fantasy?’ and I put a couple of questions in there. I saved it, confident that I now knew how this thing worked and got on with my work.
Before going on, a quick review of the product. It’s called Mindnode and it’s available on the app store for mac. I think it’s free too but not sure. This isn’t a solicited/paid for review or anything (if I was paying for this, I’d be pretty annoyed), I just thought I’d say that it’s fun and easy to use and looks quite nice. Now, back to the main the crux of this post…
So, getting in early quite a lot over the last couple of weeks, I’ve found a little time to actually do things other than work at my desk for 20 minutes a day (oh, the luxury!!). And I’ve been working on this now finished piece which is more ‘What 40k Army Should I Be Playing?’ than ’40k or Fantasy?’. So I thought I would put it up here as a little friday fun for us. Best to click through and see the image in all its glory – it’s a bit big. Still, if you’ve ever wondered what you should be working on in terms of your ideal army, this might* help.
And just a note to remind the more vitriolic readers out there, this is JUST FOR FUN and a bit SILLY. It sucks that I feel I have to say that due to a minority of morons in this hobby but God forbid anyone has a laugh while vying for the fate of the galaxy in the far future, right?
Incoming Real Life Update
Oh, yes. I’m moving house over the weekend. While you have no real reason to care about this, it does mean that at least the articles about my painting are probably going to dry up a bit over the next couple of weeks. Normal service shall be resumed when I’m all settled in. Onwards!
* – almost certainly won’t.
